bc351e9510 [svn-r1174] INSTALL_parallel.ascired: 
Changed to use the mpio version by Daniel Sands.
    Added --disable-shared to ask for a non-shared version.

configure:
    $AR was not passed to the creation of libtool.
    tflops uses xar instead of the generic ar.

227aeb2c8b [svn-r441] MPIO library maintained by William M. Davidson (wmdavid) has been 
changed to use system supported MPI library.  The path to it is
changed slightly too.  Updated all the paths variables.
