[svn-r2569] Purpose:

I introduced a small bug when trying to fix the zlib stuff.

Description:
-lz wouldn't be specified with the compile flags if it was found
while checking for the HDF4 library.

Solution:
Removed my bad check and replaced with a better one.

Platforms:
	Linux, Solaris
