* c-typeck.c (digest_init): Don't allow arrays of signed or unsigned variants of wchar_t to be initialized by wide string constants. Do allow arrays of enumerated types compatible with wchar_t to be initialized by wide string constants. Refine tests distinguishing wide and narrow strings and arrays. Give specific error for arrays of other integer types initialized by string constants. (output_init_element, process_init_element): Check for INTEGRAL_TYPE_P rather than just for INTEGER_TYPE when initializing with string constants. testsuite: * gcc.dg/init-string-2.c: New test. This directory contains the GNU Compiler Collection (GCC). The GNU Compiler Collection is free software. See the file COPYING for copying permission. The manuals, and some of the runtime libraries, are under different terms; see the individual source files for details. The directory INSTALL contains copies of the installation information as HTML and plain text. The source of this information is gcc/doc/install.texi. The installation information includes details of what is included in the GCC sources and what files GCC installs.
