this macro will be properly initialized at make's runtime.
(install): Add initialization of INSTALLDIR depending on $(libsubdir)
and ${enable_version_specific_runtime_libs}; use $${INSTALLDIR} shell variable
instead of the $(INSTALLDIR) make macro.
