Daniel Stenberg cae555c977 when no FTP transfer was done, don't attempt to read the download transfer 
thing. The 'resumed' flag is also causing confusions. I'll deal with that
tomorrow.

  libcurl is a library that Curl is using to do its job. It is readily
  available to be used by your software. Read the libcurl.3 man page to
  find out how!
