.SH DESCRIPTION
Pass the \fIpointer\fP that will be untouched by libcurl and passed as the 3rd
argument in the ioctl callback set with \fICURLOPT_IOCTLFUNCTION(3)\fP.

By default, the value of this parameter is NULL.
