Eli mentioned [1] that given that we use US English spelling in our documentation, we should use "behavior" instead of "behaviour". In wikipedia-common-misspellings.txt there's a rule: ... behavour->behavior, behaviour ... which leaves this as a choice. Add an overriding rule to hardcode the choice to common-misspellings.txt: ... behavour->behavior ... and add a rule to rewrite behaviour into behavior: ... behaviour->behavior ... and re-run spellcheck.sh on gdb*. Tested on x86_64-linux. [1] https://sourceware.org/pipermail/gdb-patches/2024-November/213371.html

# There are several factors affecting the choice of option name:
# - There is already --with-libiconv-prefix but we can't use it, it specifies
# the build-time location of libiconv files.
# - The program we need to find is iconv, which comes with glibc. The user

# doesn't necessarily have libiconv installed. Therefore naming this
# --with-libiconv-foo feels wrong.

# - We want the path to be relocatable, but GDB_AC_DEFINE_RELOCATABLE is
# defined to work on directories not files (though it really doesn't know
# the difference).
# - Calling this --with-iconv-prefix is perceived to cause too much confusion
# with --with-libiconv-prefix.
