213516ef31 Update copyright year range in header of all files managed by GDB 
This commit is the result of running the gdb/copyright.py script,
which automated the update of the copyright year range for all
source files managed by the GDB project to be updated to include
year 2023.

517a63c2c4 gdbsupport: move fileio_errno_to_host to fileio.{h,cc} and rename 
gdb_bfd.c and remote.c contain identical implementations of a
fileio_error -> errno function.  Factor that out to
gdbsupport/fileio.{h,cc}.

Rename it fileio_error_to_host, for symmetry with host_to_fileio_error.

b872057a63 gdbsupport: convert FILEIO_* macros to an enum 
Converting from free-form macros to an enum gives a bit of type-safety.
This caught places where we would assign host error numbers to what
should contain a target fileio error number, for instance in
target_fileio_pread.

I added the FILEIO_SUCCESS enumerator, because
remote.c:remote_hostio_parse_result initializes the remote_errno output
variable to 0.  It seems better to have an explicit enumerator than to
assign a value for which there is no enumerator.  I considered
initializing this variable to FILEIO_EUNKNOWN instead, such that if the
remote side replies with an error and omits the errno value, we'll get
an errno that represents an error instead of 0 (which reprensents no
error).  But it's not clear what the consequences of that change would
be, so I prefer to err on the side of caution and just keep the existing
behavior (there is no intended change in behavior with this patch).

Note that remote_hostio_parse_resul still reads blindly what the remote
side sends as a target errno into this variable, so we can still end up
with a nonsensical value here.  It's not good, but out of the scope of
this patch.

Convert host_to_fileio_error and fileio_errno_to_host to return / accept
a fileio_error instead of an int, and cascade the change in the whole
chain that uses that.

dda83cd783 gdb, gdbserver, gdbsupport: fix leading space vs tabs issues 
Many spots incorrectly use only spaces for indentation (for example,
there are a lot of spots in ada-lang.c).  I've always found it awkward
when I needed to edit one of these spots: do I keep the original wrong
indentation, or do I fix it?  What if the lines around it are also
wrong, do I fix them too?  I probably don't want to fix them in the same
patch, to avoid adding noise to my patch.

So I propose to fix as much as possible once and for all (hopefully).

One typical counter argument for this is that it makes code archeology
more difficult, because git-blame will show this commit as the last
change for these lines.  My counter counter argument is: when
git-blaming, you often need to do "blame the file at the parent commit"
anyway, to go past some other refactor that touched the line you are
interested in, but is not the change you are looking for.  So you
already need a somewhat efficient way to do this.

Using some interactive tool, rather than plain git-blame, makes this
trivial.  For example, I use "tig blame <file>", where going back past
the commit that changed the currently selected line is one keystroke.
It looks like Magit in Emacs does it too (though I've never used it).
Web viewers of Github and Gitlab do it too.  My point is that it won't
really make archeology more difficult.

The other typical counter argument is that it will cause conflicts with
existing patches.  That's true... but it's a one time cost, and those
are not conflicts that are difficult to resolve.  I have also tried "git
rebase --ignore-whitespace", it seems to work well.  Although that will
re-introduce the faulty indentation, so one needs to take care of fixing
the indentation in the patch after that (which is easy).

06b3c5bdb0 gdbsupport: rename source files to .cc 
This patch renames the .c source files in gdbsupport to .cc.

In the gdb directory, there is an argument against renaming the source
files, which is that it makes using some git commands more difficult to
do archeology.  Some commands have some kind of "follow" option that
makes git try to follow renames, but it doesn't work in all situations.

Given that we have just moved the gdbsupport directory, that argument
doesn't hold for source files in that directory.  I therefore suggest
renaming them to .cc, so that they are automatically recognized as C++
by various tools and editors.

The original motivation behind this is that when building gdbsupport
with clang, I get:

      CC       agent.o
    clang: error: treating 'c' input as 'c++' when in C++ mode, this behavior is deprecated [-Werror,-Wdeprecated]

In the gdb/ directory, we make clang happy by passing "-x c++".  We
could do this in gdbsupport too, but I think that renaming the files is
a better long-term solution.

gdbserver still does its own build of gdbsupport, so a few changes in
its Makefile are necessary.

gdbsupport/ChangeLog:

	* Makefile.am: Rename source files from .c to .cc.
	(CC, CFLAGS): Don't override.
	(AM_CFLAGS): Rename to ...
	(AM_CXXFLAGS): ... this.
	* Makefile.in: Re-generate.
	* %.c: Rename to %.cc.

gdbserver/ChangeLog:

	* Makefile.in: Rename gdbsupport source files from .c to .cc.
