(AC_YYTEXT_POINTER): New macro, replacing AC_DECLARE_YYTEXT.

(AC_FIND_X): Assume no X if --without-x was given.
(AC_FIND_XTRA): Quotes AC_REQUIRE args. Run uname in a subshell in
case it's missing. Put -l options in X_EXTRA_LIBS. Print values of
the variables we set if verbose.
